A Life Coach or Menopause Coach is a professional online coach in the UK who guides women to navigate their midlife or menopause journey. They will understand the physical, emotional, and mental transition that occurs during this phase of life. A midlife and menopause coach is not a medically qualified legal practitioner nor a professional trainer. Instead, they provide women with an inspirational guide to help women access wellness, health, and lifestyle options in midlife. Whether, this be midlife or during perimenopause, menopause and beyond. Through individual personal coaching sessions, tools, and guidance, a Life Coach or Menopause Coach will empower women to make informed decisions, and feel empowered and at ease with managing midlife, menopause, and more. Menopause Studio is based in Suffolk but can work online, or where practical, arrange in-person meetings . If you require further medical help, please consult your GP or visit The BMS.
The British Menopause Society Fact Sheet of the 2016 national survey results, reports that 50% of women do not contact and consult any healthcare professionals regarding their menopause symptoms.
The Report compiled that:
50% of women’s home lives were affected
50% of women’s sex lives were affected
A third of women’s work lives were affected
80% of women experienced hot flushes
70% of women experienced night sweats
4.5 million working women experience similar symptoms, with 63% saying the menopause has adversely affected their work and lives.
But while the menopause is inevitable, how you respond to it is in your hands.
Which is exactly how Menopause Studio fits into the picture.

The benefits of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) usually outweigh the risks. Recent evidence says that the risks or serious side effects from HRT are very low. Older studies found potential risks of HRT and made people reluctant to take or prescribe it. But this view is now seen as out of date because it does not take into account the benefits as well as the risks. The benefits and risks of taking HRT depend on your age, your menopause symptoms and risk factors you have.
If you are under 60 years old, have menopause symptoms, and are not at high risk of breast cancer or blood clots, the benefits of HRT are likely to outweigh the risks. Talk to your GP, who will help you decide.
There is a myth that because you are going through the menopause, that your sex life is over, but this does not have to be the case. While some of the hormonal changes of menopause may change the way you experience sex and your body, there is lots you can do to create a happy and pleasurable sex life that feels right for you.
According to the NHS, it is not recommended to take herbal remedies or bioidentical hormones to treat menopause symptoms. This is because it is not clear how safe and effective they are. These have not been tested and regulated in the same as medicines. Consult your GP.
According to the NHS, even if you have not had a period for years, you should still have regular check-ups with a gynecologist, particularly if you are postmenopausal, as they can monitor your health and address any concerns related to the declining estrogen levels which can impact your cardiovascular health and bone density.
According to the NHS, yes, you should still get Pap tests (cervical screening) and mammograms after menopause, as the risk of cervical and breast cancer can still be present even after menopause; however, you should consult your GP to confirm your individual screening schedule based on your health history and age.
Put yourself back in control.
